I bought in June 2024 for slightly more. e-Ink contrast is great as expected and more readable compared to my other Govee H5075's bigger LCD screen (also paid $7-8 each for those). Unit is somewhat unstable but it is easy to rig some leg support, foldout stand like the H5075 would've be nice. Small size saves space and I rarely need the MAX/MIN feature on the bigger LCD model.

Battery life is quite disappointing and inconsistent, I think 6-8 months at best for one (that I sync to app 1-2x daily), and less than 4-5 months for another (that I installed the battery months after the first one, and never connected it to Bluetooth or the app, FWIW, yet it died first) and being e-Ink, the display is still stuck at summertime 82`F and battery indicator at 2-bar (so the battery plunged from 2-bar to off, did it glitch, were the bundled Panasonics genuine, or was I unlucky). CR2450 batteries are around 50c to $1 each in quantity which probably correspond to their quality. The 2 AAA batteries in the LCD H5075 lasts far longer, and I wish Govee makes a 2-AAA e-Ink version.

I bought these a while back. The displays went dead this year so I figured they just needed new batteries. New batteries in, but displays don't work anymore. They still connected to the app though. I think other reviews on Amazon mention this. Pretty useless to me now.

Thanks for sharing that. I already have a H5075 I bought ~3 years ago and just bought another the other day for $10. I was wondering if I should return it and get this deal but seems like I'm better off with the H5075.

These look like they'd be pretty good for monitoring the humidity in a humidor. Reviews agree too.

All four of mine died just out of warranty. Two went blank, one stayed stuck with the display showing old data, and one was wildly off, like 15F off from actual.

Changing the battery with known good did not help.

Have had one for a couple years with no issues other than inconsistent battery life as someone else mentioned. But given your experience & some others, doesn't seem worth the risk to purchase more.

I use it purely to monitor the temperature in the baby/toddler rooms. Other than that if you are interested in temperature or humidity then get it.

I've had the older version of these about 6-7 years now.. they do need a battery once a year.. haven't tried the e-ink version though that sounds pretty nice.. might have to try these but would rather ~ $12

Let's just be real... 99% of the time you are just going to use the app. So who cares.
