I have one of these. I really like them compared to the regular ones I have. Display is great from any angle and they seem to connect from further distance. I do wish they had regular batteries though.

That's pretty cheap for an eink display. I wonder if they could be pulled out or hacked for hobby electronics use and display other info.

I have the Govee wifi heaters. It says that i can pair these with the heaters as a hygrometer. Has any one does this and does it then work on wifi?

I'll answer my own question...no, it won't work in a freezer and only marginally in a fridge. The stated operating temp is 32 to 122.

Does Govee make a thermometer that works at lower temps?

I've been using Switchbot devices in both my fridge and freezer for about 6 months now without any issues. They are Bluetooth-enabled, allowing you to use the app or connect them to Home Assistant, which is what I'm currently doing. They routinely go on sale for 1/2.

It doesn't connect to this company. It does the same things with using WiFi and integrates with assistants.

Although the switchbot has wifi model, the one with the amazon link that ski522 posted is the BT only model

Their thermometers w/o a display work to -4℉-140℉(-20℃-60℃). 5100 (V1) and 5107 (V2).

I just bought these E-Ink GoveeLife Smart Thermo-Hygrometer 2s from this thread and they do not work well close to their limits IMO. In the fridge one display started blinking and acting up at 35℉. I think the accuracy was ok. Then I tested them in full sun outside with a breeze and they self heated to >112℉ on a 70℉ day here. So I would rate these as good room devices but not great in some use cases.
