I would much love to use AMD Ryzen that are easy to upgrade with AM4.
Since now AMD is more popular, Intel is discounting their products to move their inventories.

Or if you have one close by, it's only $269 at Micro Center [microcenter.com](pick-up in store), $309.99 at Newegg [newegg.com] with $10 off w/ promo code 93XRJ62. As for Amazon today's price is more than the average price over the last 30 days. Wait for a better deal, I'm sure there will be plenty more just around the corner on this CPU (as there has been recently).

100% right, I believe this was $249 on prime day and $259 for a while after that recently. Definitely wait for it to drop or wait fir 11700k to drop.
