Or if you have one close by, it's only $269 at Micro Center [microcenter.com](pick-up in store), $309.99 at Newegg [newegg.com] with $10 off w/ promo code 93XRJ62. As for Amazon today's price is more than the average price over the last 30 days. Wait for a better deal, I'm sure there will be plenty more just around the corner on this CPU (as there has been recently).

100% right, I believe this was $249 on prime day and $259 for a while after that recently. Definitely wait for it to drop or wait fir 11700k to drop.
