No that was 3D All Stars. That was supposed to be limited production until this past March. And as you can see it is still available and part of this sale.
Picked up 3D World. Already have all the others, lol.

Tons of Nintendo games on sale lately...and I love it. The fact that Pokémon Snap is already on sale can't bode well for that reboot. I know it's a gimmicky game, but is it even worth $45?

Thoughts on difficulty level of Snap? It looks like not much at all. My daughters shy away from challenges, preferring laid-back, low-stakes sims like Animal Crossing & LEGO Worlds.
If I remember reviews right (check youtube for "IGN" or my preferred "Easy Allies"), there's no "failure state". You go on an adventure taking pictures via an "on-rails" trek through a level. Think slow moving train a la an amusement park. Your goal is to take pictures of pokemon. Better pictures give higher stars. The challenge is that some pokemon only show briefly or move quickly. The levels changes via night and day but the pokemon also change their behavior the more you play, or gain "experience".
So, very laid back...but you "Gotta Catch them All!"
If they're pokemon fans, it's a no-brainer purchase to see them in habitats. If they're not, it might appeal if they like photography, like cropping and adding filters. If neither of those things appeals to your kids, then maybe? It could be a gateway to pokemon - whether that's your goal or not is up to you.
Nobody is going to believe Nintendo anymore when they say a game has a limited run. They should have taken a page from Disney and their Disney Vault tactic. I'm really glad they didn't but from a business perspective it might have been more successful.
Ahhh. I only want to play Bowser's Fury, but I had a Wii U and finished off 3D world. I think I'll wait till $20 or less..(backlog is still too big anyway)

Agreed. It's called a Nintendo, Disney and Apple tax for a reason.

Yes, but my local Best Buy only has 3 in stock and surrounding KC metro area Best Buys have less or none. That said, I've still seen this pretty regularly at Wal-Marts, but eventually the stock will go to zero, and I think this will happen sooner than later.
Thanks for the insight! It makes sense. Does SSB go on sale at all or does it tend to stick with MSRP?
Very rarely do I see SSB on sale. It's consistently a Nintendo best seller, but doesn't get in the mix like the others do. When sales for Mario Odyssey, Zelda BOtW and Mario Kart run for $39.99 you never see SSB as part of the sale. $45 is a good deal.
