YMMV Sams Club B&M in Jacksonville, FL Westside has the Uniden R1 radar detector on clearance for $159.91, I believe the original price listed was $190 with an extra $30 off due to clearance. In the store they had a small empty display box and a pull ticket pocket in the middle of other more prominently displayed stock in the electronics section. They had a ton of tickets but no idea how many they actually had in stock.
This is the lowest price I've seen it for, especially from a reputable retailer.
This radar detector gets pretty good reviews and has the same horn as the R3 but without GPS.
I'm honestly not sure if I'm going to keep it or not. Depends on how good the BSM filtering is on this model. Unfortunately LEO still uses K band around here so I can't shut it off completely. Anyone have any thoughts on this vs the R3 vs the R7 based solely on that factor? I really don't care as much about extra range or GPS or arrows if I'm going to want to chuck the damn thing out the window every time an Odyssey passes by me.

I would love to buy an R7 for the arrows that tell you which direction the radar is coming from, but it's too expensive, since my R1 works really well
