I bought this the last time it was around this price. It has been great so far. My wife couldn't believe how well it works for the price. It seems high quality, but time will tell. I already feel like we've gotten our money's worth.

Keep trying, eventually it will go through. Just worked for me after many attempts.

Nothing special; these no name brand massagers are a dime a dozen at this price. I got one from Costco for $50 and even that one had to be recalled because the battery was a fire hazard. I wouldn't trust any of these cheaper ones.

It looks more like a cheap massage gun.

This is not a special deal. You commonly find these odd name brand massage guns for cheap on Amazon and I read tons of bad reviews on them

Mine arrived recently from a deal here. Works awesome. $30 is a nifty price I think.

Weekly Blackleaf spam. Just search massage gun and this thing gets posted every week if not more often.

The issue with cheap batteries is concerning for me. Some of these massagers list that they use the same battery as Tesla. Do you all think that really means it's safer? I think I also have heard that user replaceable ones aren't as safe, perhaps more due to the new battery that one might install than that the original battery might be unsafe. Any thoughts welcome.

For an example of one that says it uses a Tesla battery, see the 5th picture for this massager, which was recommended in yesterday's Hyperice thread:

I bought this one a few weeks ago for about $38. I'm very happy with it. Yes these posts are very shilly but even a blind dog finds a bone once in a while. I note that most of positive reports here are from people who actually own it, while the haters invariably do not. I rest my case.

What exactly are you worried about? Tesla batteries have become very common in devices such as these, power banks, blah-de-blah. The reason is that they are cheap and are high capacity (5000mAh is typical). I don't see them being any more or less safe than any other type of Li-ion/poly battery. If you don't buy this device I suggest you make your decision on something other than fretting about the battery.
