However, I will strongly disagree the price point for this laptop. This Laptop comes with a 100W (85W + 15W with Dunamic Boost) RTX 3080 which is pretty lower end for a RTX 3080. For example, Alienware m15 R4 can push 145W. Also, this laptop doesn't have Thunderbolt 3.
You can easily get a Legion 5 Pro at this price with a RTX 3070 t 145W which will actually perform same or sometimes a bit better than this low powered RTX 3080. Plus, you'll get a far superior QHD+ 16:10 500 nits display, more powerful Ryzen 7 5800H and far superior battery life. Normally, some folks want to stick with Intel platforms knowing their lower efficiency and performance, due to Thunderbolt as they have already invested in Thunderbolt peripherals. Since, this one does have TB3, that is not adding anything here.

1. Smaller footprint
2. Upgradable memory
3. More SSD space
4. Higher screen refresh rate (with gimp GPU, not sure if it any useful)
5. Has MUX
6. M15 will definitely cost more due to tax

The fan noisy is very unpleasant, and I replaced 3 laptops during the first month. I settled down with the fan whining after long period of use, but the GPU fan died about 13 months and out of warranty. I bought one replacement from aliexpress the seller told me this is very typical since he sold lots of replacement just for this new chassis.
The gigabyte control center is pure garbage and slow, it wipes all your custom settings for keyboard, thermal, macro, light even screen calibration files when upgrade, and when it's fired up, eat 30% cpu usage.
I bought a Rog G15 RTX 3080, it also configured with 100w TDP, the performance just abysmal, some people mentioned it might compare to 140w 3070, my own experience is it's just a 100w 3070 level, far from 140w 3070. When you cut power down too much, it just can't provide enough raw power to utilize many cores.
