Cancelled my preorder earlier today as it had not shipped yet. A good price matching the recent Walmart price of you don't mind waiting a few days after street date.

Amazon refunds the difference for the lowest price anyway. You would've been refunded the difference.

Didn't amazon used to do this all the time? I swear I remember the 10$ cheaper thing with games from them- then they stopped for some reason.

They did used to do it. It was too compete with Best Buy. When Best Buy did away with the program they had no more reason to compete.
