Wow I'm surprised by the comments and controversy this post has caused.

I'll just say this: there are lots of folks out there who collect and carry pocket knives the way people collect and wear watches or jewelry. Many such folks (myself included) don't think of a knife as a weapon, just a handy little tool that is surprisingly versatile and useful (for example, for opening countless boxes from slickdeals purchases). As a non-knife person, it can be very jarring to see someone whip out a pocket knife to perform a mundane task, like to slice an apple in the lunch room - but I think most people who carry pocket knives never intend for them to be perceived as threatening or scary.

id hardly call it jarring to see someone pull out a pocket knife short of attacking you with it. But i guess this country is full of soft cry babies mow.

Could you imagine the absolute goober who walks over to this right before you head out of their place, opens this case up... And then mulls over, hand on chin which of his three watches, and which of his 6 pocket knives to take to Applebees.. Before grabbing his wallet, flashlight, pen, and phone that are needlessly stored in here as well?

As someone with ADD tendencies, keeping the things I need before walking out the door organized has been a helpful tactic for not running around looking for things last minute.

I carry a pen/notebook always at work. Sometimes a light. And I have different knives and watches that suit my attire just like one may have different belts and shoes.

Nothing exciting about this box, but gives me an idea to make my own.

Not really. I know I and literally many other there's a literal community on Reddit under Knife_swap. I bought this myself because even though I have way more than 7 knives it's just annoying to get out a pelican knife case everyday to see which one I want to carry. Plus it has some display quality. It's nice to see all your edc gear such as pens, flashlights, knives , wallets in one neat and tidy display. That's all

This seems to be made for someone like me...Yes, people have different EDC knives for different purposes, the blade I'm going to carry around on the weekends is not the same as the blade ill carry on days ill be meeting with female clients. (Sometimes you need something more discreet) Just one example. But I have 4 regular rotation blades I use on a weekly basis for different reasons. Watches are self explanatory, different occasions, clothing, activities, etc. This would be nice if the watch slots were also winders, it would save a bunch of time having to "wake up" a watch before use after not being used for a few days. I just cant get over the finish. Am I the only one who wants a natural unfinished wood option. These items always seem to be black, cherry, or some sort of espresso color. Also, the construction looks cheap
