For an i7-11700, you would need at least a CPU tower style cooler. But only certain CPU coolers will fit without cutting the screws with a dremel tool. If you want a CPU cooler that is guaranteed to fit, you can buy the tower cooler that Dell uses for their K-series CPUs. This cooler drops the temperatures to 78°C instead of 93°C with the stock cooler in Dawid Does Tech Stuff.

The shipping date is 1 month out, has Dell been generally faster with deliveries than their anticipated ship?

CPU cooler looks flimsy as hell. Only one fan in the whole case and that's on the back side. I also missed the fact that this was white chassis I thought it was black but that's on me for not paying attention. I haven't even turned it on yet so I'll see how this plays out. Power supply is proprietary. It's like a big metal brick and it's on the bottom of the case.

Pretty pissed about the optical drive though.

You have to use a slim bd drive.

I ordered this the last time it was posted. Anticipated date was 7/12-15. I got it 7/7 and they sent it Overnight Air.

Thanks but I'd like to use the one I already have. The one you've linked for Dell replacement is not UHD friendly. The one I have already is UHD friendly. Damn you Dell!!!

I haven't tried that but I'm guessing you should be able to. Might be able to line up some holes, same with the psu. Try it out if you have the time.

I saw on Reddit someone was able to use nzxt x53 water cooling in this dell model. Anything is possible.

I got a similar Dell back in April with a 10700 and only a 256 GB NVME. All other specs the same.

Just want to note for anyone planning on pulling the video card, on my PC anyway, there are no video outputs coming off of the motherboard. Not sure if that is the case here but the model number is the same.

I missed this deal last time, but jumped on it this chance. What about making it into an external drive? They make external enclosures for 5.25" drives.
