Most big name (Acer, Apple, Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo, ect..) budget pre-built computers like this come with propriety cases, PSU, and motherboards now a days. Everything else are standard size parts (CPU, drives, fans, graphics cards, RAM, ect..) and can be easily upgraded/replaced/swapped.

This Dell system would be a great fit, for home, office, students, coders, CAD, miners, video editors, graphic designers, and even casual gamers. Pretty much everyone except hardcore PC gamer enthusiast that like to build and maintain their own high-end $2000+ systems.

We have 3 of the G5 systems reviewed in that Gamers Nexus video. Ours have GTX1660 graphics cards, 10400F, 500w PS, 16GB ram, and a clean install of Windows 10. All are performing very well and we have not seen any heat or performance issues. My kids play the newest games on them daily (Doom Eternal, Call of Duty Modern Warfare, Madden, HOI4, ect.) While simultaneously having YouTube open, a couple web pages, and messenger programs. I feel as though the build quality was quite good for the price I paid. I could not be more satisfied with our purchase.

If you are just an normal person (like 98% of the population) that wants to get a good deal on a good PC that will probably never be opened, and the only real maintenance you do is reinstall Windows ever couple of years to clean the system up. Then this system is perfect for you, and will serve you well for many years to come.

If you have a better deal on a pre-built system with similar or better specs available right now then post it.

Dell didn't give any options to upgrade, but you can add another one.

If you only perform office tasks, surf the web, coding, stream video...etc, you don't need this powerfully PC. Get the upcoming Inspiron PC deal for $300 will do all the general tasks fine.

This tool can be used to answer questions #1 https://pcpartpicker.com/list/HV2mt8
it would be probably be $850 with Windows but WITHOUT video card and support.

New video cards are hard to come by, an actual new RTX 2060 would be $900 from trusted retailers and $600 on ebay (who knows what you are going to get, fake cards and used mining cards are flooding ebay)

Of course you need the skill set to assemble and troubleshoot it, and then there is the fun of chasing RMAs for broken/wrong parts. You see if you do not have a bunch spare parts laying around you may not know which part you got is bad.
For example;
  • You assemble everything and push the power button, nothing happens - is it the motherboard, CPU, RAM, or PS? Or did you install something wrong?
  • Just as fun when you push the power button and it just beeps but nothing comes on the screen. You know what beep codes are? Did you count the beeps, tones, and pauses?
  • Also fun is when everything works fine and you install windows but it just keeps crashing after random amounts of time. Hardware or software, where do you start?
  • Or just crashes when you run a certain program. Now the really time consuming fun starts.

questions #2 - This PC like almost all PC's made in the last 7 years could easily run Windows 11 https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/w...ifications [microsoft.com]
You did miss the dvd writer and 1 tb hdd. 16gb is one stick.
