For more information regarding the Korg USA warranty, please click on the following link. www.korgusa.com/warranty

If you register your Korg keyboard, keyboard rack module or digital piano online within 90 days of purchase, Korg will extend your Korg manufacturer's warranty for an extra year for free if purchased from a Korg authorized dealer. A copy of the registration confirmation email and a legible copy of the product's sales receipt from the authorized dealer are both required for extended warranty service. To register your Korg product, please click http://i.korg.com/Register

A legible copy of the item's original itemized sales receipt from a Korg authorized dealer must be presented to the Korg authorized service center prior to the request for warranty repair. Documentation such as packing lists, credit card statements, or the registration confirmation email does not replace the original itemized sales receipt as valid proof of purchase or verification for warranty repairs.

I was considering this. It's a good piano. But I went with the Casio CT-S1. Smaller and not weighted but still very nice for the price. 200 I ordered it from West Music. No tax.

Korg's warranty is purely a joke. The Korg B1 we bought brand new had multiple keys stop working less than two years. No support from Korg can be obtained. DO NOT buy this brand. Very terrible experience.

Definitely buy with a credit card that offers extended warranty like chase and Amex. I personally have had good experience with Amex.

First time buyer, can someone share suggestions of good keyboard stand and bench, I see options ranging from 50$ to the more expensive ones, does it really make a big difference? Thanks.
Amazon has a stand from Plixio that I know someone uses a high-end Yamaha CP88 digital piano with. I've had my eye on it myself.

https://www.amazon.com/Plixio-Pia...xio&sr=8-4

$70. But they have the non-wheel version for $5 less.

i am in the market for my kid's music lesson. the teacher recommends yamaha p45 88key which cost $500. how does this compare to yamaha p45?
Yamaha has a better key action IMO. The b2 felt a bit cheap compared to the Yamaha and the korg sv that has its higher end RH3 action. But key feel is subjective. I'd personally spend a few hundred more and get the Roland fp30x. Newer model with way better key action.

Xtp who posted above is probably right about key pivots, which I don't understand much of as I'm a beginner myself.

870 has much better sound.

I'm not a huge fan of 870's action, but it's not bad.

If they were both $500, I'd agree on a toss-up.

But at this price difference. Really wouldn't go the yama route.

The P45 has weighted keys, which is probably why the instructor recommends it, since it will be closer to a true piano feel, then semi-weighted. But weighted keys drive up the cost.

I've been eyeing the P45 myself. May bite if I find a good Amazon Warehouse deal. You may want to consider that option to save a little.

Oh, I actually see the Korg also has weighted keys, based on the comments.

Curious if anyone has a Wavebone Headquarter studio desk and can say if this keyboard fits on it?
