I can vouch for this. I owned a few older Oakley backpacks. A kitchen sink and another one. I just bought one of their newer packs, and the quality is abysmal compared to their older packs. The zippers alone are awful compared to the old heavy duty ones. I would strongly pass on Oakley bags and backpacks now.

I guess they still sell the kitchen sink, but I bought the bigger enduro 2.0 and was very disappointed.

Isn't this company was sold to Luxottica? I own backpack from 10 years ago and quality was good. Not sure now.

I looked at these in store and they seemed kind of cheap to me compared to Osprey, Patagonia, even North Face

Luxxotica owns most large sun glasses brands including Ray-Ban, Sun glasses Hut and Oakley. I believe they retain the same manufacturer factories, design staff and specs for brands they acquire. I think they also own part or all of Lenscrafters as well, they have a large presence here in the Atlanta area. They pretty much monopolized the Eyewear industry but Oakley has always made good products and we use their gear a lot when approved in the military.

They make great quality bags. Their supply chain & service was super slow at the start of the pandemic - but finally got my stuff.

Hoping much better now, got another bag for my son to start high school with. Worth it even if I did have to wait for weeks.

I got the Enduro 3.0 25L in Blackout Dark Heather and an Enduro 2.0 25L in Black last week at an Oakley Store for $20 each. They're at a End of Season Sale rack along with a few items. It's a B & M, YMMV type of deal with these each store I guess.

How are the storage compartments in these? Would anyone recommend using as a diaper bag?

About 11-12 years ago 60 minutes did a great report on Luxottica. You can still watch it on YouTube. Luxottica owns Oakley, Ray Ban, and several others. They also make glasses for all the high end fashion brands. They also own Lens Crafters and Pearl Vision.

My kitchen sink literally wore a hole in it today. I bought it 10 years ago. The zippers are still like new. I may patch it up because it's such a tank.

I have a 20 year old Da Kine backpack that is bombproof, I've looked at the newer ones, junk too

Maybe we are just getting older and turning into those "old people" we used to talk about when we were younger that complained about how the way things "used to be". I have an Ogio back back from 10 years ago and it is a tank too so I probably fall into that category so welcome old geezers and geezerettes. What time does the early bird senior special open up at the buffet? HAHAH! See ya there!
