Not bad for such a cheap laptop, especially the ability to add more RAM. Shame about the crappy screen, though.

Actually at this price, this is a pretty decent screen, better than a lot of far pricer laptops like Lenovo Flex 5 or Dell Inspiron 5000 series. Yes, color gamut is just 60% sRGB but it's brighter than most 250 nits panel you see in Dell Inspiron, HP pavilion or Lenovo IdeaPad 5 series, costing $100 more
Another thing, this is a matte display and perfectly fine for outdoor usage unless you're sitting in direct sunlight.

I am looking for a laptop to play some older PC games. Things like Age of the Empires or Fallout 2 off of Game Pass.

Would this do the trick? I do not need 4K graphics, but would like 1080p graphics to look good. Anyone have some recommendations. I am not exactly looking to break the bank on this but would like to enjoy some of these retro games .

Is this the one with a crap TN panel? I sent one back a couple months ago due to that alone.
Would you please mind reading the description?

This has IPS panel with 300 nits brightness and 60% sRGB color gamut. Pretty good for the price.

Honestly, you can play those games on any modern laptop, but this is the deal he was talking about.

EVOO is one of the brands using rebadged TongFang chassis (eluktronics, cyberpower, overpowered, maingear, etc).

I've had two of them (15" 1060 Overpowered and 17" 2070super Maingear), they're pretty solid laptops.

How is the build quality on this? Is it a lower end model like Dell Inspiron 3000 series?

Yes. It's basically the bottom of the Lenovo barrel unless you're looking at Chromebooks. They use the number after the sub-brand to tell you where it's aimed at. Ideapad 3, Yoga 3, any other 3 is the bare bones cheap as shit. The "5" models are more midrange and usually pretty good values, with the Ideapad 5 14" AMD being the glaring exception due to the shitty screen. The "7" and "9" are more high end, more towards a Pro level device.
