The lockpickinglawyer isn't coming over to steal your stuff, nor do petty thieves invest in Lishi tools or lock picking skills.

Know your neighborhood threats and what you're protecting. If your concern is a homeless person coming to steal your gardening tools, this lock is more than adequate.
He picks almost everything in seconds.

Virtues of a Lock.
- Stops people who don't know how to pick a lock and don't have a cordless Grinder on them
- Removes all doubt that the act is theft, and not a "mistake".
- Delays the person slightly where he could get stopped or spotted
An angle grinder is faster, easier and doesn't require any real skill. Lock picking is when the thief doesn't want to let everyone know that a thief was actually there. Most don't care about that.

I need to lock my moving cubes… will the 532 prevent cutting/sawing through?

True. But the downside to the lock picking lawyer is when there's tons of videos and guides on how to break into things. Petty thieves eventually turn into lock pick pros

Honestly 90% of padlocks that advertise being secure and not being able to be cut is a lie.

Think of a lock as just a deterrent if a thief wanted something bad enough he/she will get it.

What kinda neighborhood you live in where opportunist meth addicts take tips from LPL? Sounds like an absurd hypothetical.

The M532 is rekeyable. There are some bad reviews on Home Depot about the cylinders on the M532 seizing up, but great reviews on the M530.

Well, angle grinders make a hell of a lot of noise, so there's that.

Yes, and one of the most fundamental principles of security is using techniques to make what you're protecting more difficult to obtain than an alternative. Nothing is ever completely secure, but if you have enough security to deter a thief ("I'll go rob THAT house instead of this one."), then that's success.
