My apologies, mods! I saw this in club for $134.99 and did not notice the online thread.

I'm tempted to get this even though I bought a 50 pint from Best Buy a year ago or so. Changing out the collected water is a PITA. Having a pump means I can attach a hose and stick it out the window. Plus Costco's excellent return policy.

Oh, ok, I was scanning for that price so I didn't see the other. What is "In Club"?

In club: at the b&m warehouse vs. @.com site.

I tried to get my local club to PM, but they said they couldn't. 🥺

So you tried to get your local b&m warehouse to PM? Are there different prices at different warehouses? This is the first I'm hearing of this. Or tried to get you local warehouse to PM the online mfr savings?

I just called my local warehouse and they don't have any. They said it's a "new item" and don't have any in stock yet. Hopefully they will get some before the sale ends.

Yeah. Mine has plenty, but price is $169.99. They won't adjust to .com price. 🥺

Warehouse prices are sometimes less than the online price since shipping charges don't apply.

Ditto!

Costco's return policy is the best. It's the reason I purchase there whenever possible.

Don't forget to factor in your local utility rebates. I'd get $25 back from electric co. It's not a lot, but hey, if you were going to buy this anyway, why not.

I have one of these in my basement. It's fully conditioned but dumb builder prior to us tied the basement 5o the main floor and no zoning. So this thing runs full time 24/7 set on 45% Dan there. It pump drains into the hvac unit drain system.

It's ok but glad I bought through Costco. Very first one from Costco was a whirlpool unit and lasted 18 months and kept the basement good. After it died Costco replaced it with this Danby. It lasted 11.5 months but never did quite as good as the whirlpool. The unit sits inside the hvac closet and I use a wall fan unit 5o draw air through that closet and across the dehumidifier. The whirlpool unit allowed me to leave that closet door shut. This danby made me keep the doorop3n a few inches to get enough airflow.

After the first danby died I replaced with another danby from Costco. We will see how long this one lasts. As long as Costco keeps covering it I'll keep using their humidifiers.

It keeps my basement about 50% rh and temp up about 5 degrees from 68 to about 73 while upstairs is 72-73. So perfect temp.
