Also would a 27 inch 1080p monitor be "blurry" less PPi versus a 24 inch version
I've got the ex2510 and it works great on my series x. The ex2510 has higher brightness and better pixel density than this 2710 because of the slightly smaller screen. That said this is a great deal in a lower budget range! The hdr is easily the best hdr400 I've seen. The blur reduction on these monitors is fantastic!

Thanks for the reply yeah I figured 27 inch 1080p might be kind of rough due to pixel density.
I'll keep a look out for the 25 inch version to go on sale
VA 1080p was 139 5 years ago so take that as you will. Personally I've been shopping for something better than this 1080p for 3-4 years so imo shopping for a 1080p in 2021 as a "gamer" monitor seems insane, don't you want 1440p or 4k?
this monitor may make sense for a pro cs go player but any mainstream gamer should consider something that is this decade.....
I mean the specs aren't horrible but you're right. Ideally I'd want a 1440p 144hz IPS display but a decent monitor seemed to run around $300 minimum and I don't think I've seen any of those recently. I'm not really trying to spend too much more than say $100? I got my last 24" 1080p 60hz HP IPS monitor brand new for $35 on clearance in 2018 so it might have spoiled me

I use a dell 2721dgf for my Xbox now and it's far and away better. Yes it also cost double. The ex2510 has better hdr. It will accept a 4K signal so you can play super sampled 1080p w/ decent hdr, but it won't let you do all that at 120fps. You have to play at normal 1080p w/ out hdr to use 120fps… so I ultimately bought the dell. The dell let's you play 1440, 120fps, hdr all that. The image is certainly sharper also. I also like the 27" size better, but the 2510 never felt small.
