Does newegg have the same issue with counterfeit flash drives as amazon does? I would rather pay $10 more to buy one in a big box store in a blister pack rather than chance a fake.

Besides cosmetics and perfumes, flash drives and SD cards are probably the most sketchy things to buy from dubious sources these days. As least a flash drive won't (hopefully) cause you to rub cancer chemicals all over yourself (https://www.fbi.gov/news/stories/...fragrances).

I just wanted to point out that the drive in this thread is noticeably heavy compared to ones that have a plastic frame.
