Yes, it is pretty solid deal. It is a very handful of UltraBooks, coming with HDMI 2.1 connector, meaning 4K at 120 Hz. Also, the 67 WHr battery is one of the largest, if not the largest, in this weight and size category. It has amazing battery life as per the various reviews.
Also, that 400 nits display is really good and it is actually a low powered display, I think a 2W panel. So, despite being very bright, it has lower power consumption.

But the downside is the lack of 3.5mm audio jack
Seems like a good deal. It's available on eBay from Newegg for the same price, FYI in case anyone has rewards or coupons to use there instead.
No it isn't. Whenever you see LPDDR4X memory consider it soldered Wink Though it would be nice.

Very nicely spec'ed laptop. If you have a need and the budget, this seems like an awesome price for a premium product. The Pro version of Windows is also an upgrade which shouldn't be overlooked.

Cool specs. One awkward keyboard for heavy excel usage, which is unfortunately what I would be using it for.

Almost there needs a Ryzen 5800U for the improved Zen 3 cores performance.

If you have the need for these specs (rather than just a want), yes. Kepping in mind the weight, also yes. It being a non-touchscreen is the only downside of this laptop (for those who may truly care for that feature).

Yes. This UM425 series normally comes with a 250 nits and this 400 nits display, both with 100% sRGB. Last year, with Ryzen 4000 series, only the 250 nits panel was available in US. It is good to see that finally they have brought the 400 nits option in USA. And $900 is not really very highly priced considering the spec and the build quality. The Intel version with i7-1165G7 costs over $1000.
Another thing, the 400 nits panel is a low powered 1 W low powered Panel. So, high chance that even if you use it at say over 60% to 80% brightness, it won't drain the battery compared to normal 400 nits panels.

Agreed that $900 is pricey but this checks all the boxes for most SDers: high quality screen, at least 16gb of RAM, awesome processor. If you want a portable powerhouse under $1k and gaming isn't your focus, this is a winner.
