This is a good game for people who grew up playing turn based rpgs. It's definitely worth $2.99.

Not a great story or anything but it scratches that itch.

If you look up hidden gem you'll see this game. It's a great old school rpg. I liked it from Gamepass so much I bought a physical once it left

This is such a fun game. It has all the battle elements of a classic JRPG but the style / characters are more Westernized which makes it a lot more interesting than just your standard JRPG tropes.

Played this for free (or very cheap) on iPad. Great game, loved it all the way through, easily 20+ hours of gameplay. Bought it again for PS4 now just to support the devs. No-brainer at this price I if you like classic jRPG style games with linear story and beautiful visuals.

Its a bit grindy to get all your players to a equal level. Its not terribly fun to have to grind a low level team member for 1-2 hours for a boss fight.

What i thought was slightly odd was all the loot was the same, you dont get "rolls". So if you got "the super sword" all level 12 super swords are the same, one will not have more piercing damage etc.

its based off a discontinued comic so if you're like most people who never got into it, you're pretty much thrown into the middle of the storyline
