The A7Rii is a great camera... for the price. If you are on a relatively small budget.. ie $2k including lens. You can get the A7Rii, with that flash, and a Sigma 28-70mm F2.8 or Tamron 28-75mm F2.8 or a Tamron 17-28mm F2.8.
Positives
1) Its very sharp, performs similarly to the A7Riii
2) great in low light,
3) focusing is snappy with Native lenses.
But it does have its drawbacks
1) Single card slot
2) Battery life is weak. Be prepared to have 1 or 2 extra
3) Can feel sluggish, turn off auto review to speed it up a little
4) Eye AF is not very good.
The A7iii/A7Riii buys you
1) Dual Memory card slots
2) Much better battery life
3) Faster autofocusing
4) Improved Real time Eye-AF
5) Faster operation
6) 10FPS with a deeper buffer
7) Better with adapted lenses

9. Continuous autofocus works with much slower aperatures (A7rii stops at F8 while A7iii can do it at F22)
10. More and clickier physical buttons, with better layout and new touchscreen
11. Taller grip
12. GPS location through Imaging Edge mobile app (bluetooth pairing with phone)
The list really goes on and on and on. I bought the A7rii after buying the A7iii expecting a similar camera that's just a bit slower, worse autofocus, and battery life, but have found that Sony really made improvements basically everywhere you look. The only con of the A7iii gen is that they took away the apps (smooth reflections is awesome). That said, I don't regret buying the A7rii. 42MP is awesome!
