You need to make sure you take off the default Footlong Pro in the subway app,

Works with a Steak and Cheese. It Applies it. Going use it tomorrow.

I don't know why the tuna thing was such a surprise, even the "tuna" in cans has been known to be mixed/questionable fish for years. Unless you're paying over $5 a can you're probably not eating tuna.

And for that matter, you're probably not eating chicken or turkey either. All it takes to be considered turkey is to be over 50% turkey meat. Think they're gonna do you a favor and make it 100%? Think again.

Is subway suffering lately from all the negative reports?

The footlong are too short, then the Bread was too high in sugar to be bread, then the no tuna in tuna sandwich

I dont care, really. Although the no tuna tuna sandwich is kinda weird. The best sandwich was the seafood sub. It was a local only around the Maryland DC area.

I tried the turkey Cali fresh. I got it toasted. The new turkey looks more like deli meat. But, I didn't notice an improvement in the flavor of the meat. I got the multigrain bread, which I thought would be delicious toasty. The first mozzarella cheese was a nice touch. As was the avocado. The veggies were fresh. I opted for the spinach. The bacon was similar to that pretty cooked bacon that they sell on the grocery store now. This has the potential of being a good sandwich. I was hoping Subway would have improved on the technology to toast their sandwiches. I think, for the price, I prefer Jersey Mike's for cold subs and Firehouse subs for hot subs. I like the conveyor style toasters. But, Subway does not use that technology. The sandwich was good. I definitely would not avoid Subway. But, if there was a Jersey Mike's or Firehouse subs conveniently close by, I would pass over Subway every time.

It had to go away because Subway's costs went up over time, the same as happened to the cost of everything everywhere else, and it's a lot harder to work 5.99 into a terrible song than it is $5. That's been quite a while now, and Wendy's no longer has a 99 cents menu.

People always on here making fun of Subway but even the "fake" Subway meat still beats McDonalds/Wendy's etc.

You want cheap and healthy go to Chipotle.

Subway is like McDonalds, processed meats, only difference is they dont fry it in excess oil.

You would be hard pressed to beat their BOGO foot long for $6.
