Not on arlo 3 I didn't think? I thought arlo 2 was last free arlo?
Not true for this anymore. Their software is so slow and detection is not very good. Their subscription is costly and not offering much compared with nest cam.

Eufy is amazing for the price point. Their 2K indoor cam goes on sale often for $25-30 and offers HomeKit support, but I've found their native app has better AI/motion detecting notifications. There's even support to record to a NAS instead of a microSD.
I'm very impressed with the amount of free features you get at such a low price point, in the form of a 2K quality camera. My biggest gripe is that the app's UI can be a little wonky (can't get to the playback video options in landscape).

Which Eufy indoor can goes on sale for $25-30? I bought the Eufy 2k wired doorbell with wireless Chime but haven't found Eufy indoor cams at the price point you mention
Looking at my invoice, I bought a pair of these for $28 each back in Nov 2020. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a Black Friday deal for them, so i might be worth waiting another month or two.
