Heads up: I created a registry today with a due date within 30 days, then was able to get the 15% discount applied to my account through a quick chat with buybuybaby's customer service chat.

The 15% registry did indeed stack.. thank you OP! Was debating b/t this and the Mockingbird but someone gifted us the UPPA Messa so we preferred this if the price was lower. Final total was $649.19 after taxes in CA. Wife will be ecstatic.

Just ordered one on Amazon. I can use the 15% off baby registry discount as well.

They do last though. We are using the same Uppababy for our baby girl that we did for our 10 year old and it was used for 3 kids in between.

I was overwhelmed by the selection of travel systems, car seats, when my kid was born. Being a single dad didn't help either. I settled with Safety 1st because I was on Reddit and parents told me they age out quick. Lo and behold, he aged out by age 1. Those strollers are too bulky for my car. I switched over to those $30 summer strollers you see at Target and Walmart. I only spent $200 in total compared to what they're selling.

Really though, expensive travel systems are just another way to brag about how rich you are. Some people can't exist without wearing their social economic status on their sleeves.

I would agree with this. We had a travel system we used for two kids (a year apart) and it lasted all of 2.5 years.

Yeah, out of stock. This price should be valid until 8/15/21 per the Uppababy website and good at 'participating authorized U.S. retailers in-store and online' so you can probably keep checking to see if it comes back in stock or look for other participating online retailers that might have it (just won't get the extra 15% off for the registry completion coupon).

An alternative is the Navy Blue version at Nordstrom that will be on sale during their Anniversary Sale that starts 7/28 (earlier if you have their credit card or or in one of their upper tier memberships). That color is Nordstrom exclusive but the price will not be as low as this one, it will be $727 plus tax. I kind of like the black frame of the Navy Blue version, not sure if the scratches will show more though.

Why does every time someone post an "expensive" item, it always turn into a class-warfare social commentary?

As far as I am concerned, what constitutes as a "deal" on SD is the difference between the sale price and it's market price. That's it. No one cares about your personal opinion whether you think a product is worth it to you or not, because those value judgment are going to be highly subjective based on your own use-cases and economic situations.

yoyo is much better
Do you use it for traveling on airplanes? Is it worth the price? What do you like about the yoyo? honestly don't see it being much better than the ergobaby metro which costs 40% less.

Amazon has the Finn in stock for the same discounted base price, since buybuybaby is now out of stock. You may be able to create a "short-term" registry and get a completion discount as well.

amazon finn shows up at 929 for me. i guess the price went back up after buybuybaby went out of stock even though the sale is upposed to be until 8/15.
