Don't bring it along on your next hotel stay. Some things you might be better off not knowing.

I'm a science teacher and bought this when it was a similar price. It's quite a nice and bright UV light. The "next level" of UV wavelength is the 365nm, and I haven't compared directly to these which are usually more expensive, but this gives you a good ability to really light up UV reflective items. The fluorescent orange and yellow really stands out. It's a good UV light.

Use the regular flashlight to see men. Use this one for seamen.

I haven't heard about that function before; but I have heard that these UV lights are really good, when it comes to looking for a scorpions, which is definitely helpful, out here in Arizona.

That's exactly what I'm buying it for…so I know what bedding & pillows need to be thrown into a corner…or if the room is even safe (from a biological standpoint) to enter or request another room

Seriously that's what we use it for and it is shocking what you see in some rooms. Definitely gives you some massive leverage with a room upgrade or other hotel perks.

The last thing a hotel or Airbnb wants online is your UV light photo from a dirty room.

Paid the same price like two years ago.

From Guardians of the Galaxy:
Peter Quill: Filthy? She has no idea. If we had a blacklight, this thing would look like a Jackson Pollock painting.

PSA:

"UV" is a range of wave lengths (just like visible light contains multiple wavelengths/colors)

There is more than one type of UV and certain types are better for urine verses other applications

Would this also be a good UV light for detecting leaks in AC refrigerant systems such as in a car AC system that had UV Leak Detector injected into it

$14.99 in Feb 2020. inb4 time machine. This is a good deal.

Great at hotel rooms. Hilton plasters the room in "cleaned for your protection" stickers nowadays but the bathrooms are covered in just as much piss as always.

So you don't need the "Luminol" or something for this?

P.S. Everything I know about crime investigation, I learned from video games.
