I get these (and lose many) for my 6 year old who has thin hair. Perfect for her, not good for those with thick hair like others mentioned.

Our dollar tree has 2 different qualities. They have the "purse pack" which has approx 10 and those are still good. And now they also sell 'economy pack' which is 15 count and they're horrible!! But same Goody label

Got these last time. I gave them to a kid with thin straight hair after I saw them. They'd probably be good for braid ends. Definitely not large enough for a top bun. If you have somewhat thick hair, or if you like a real secure pony you should probably pass.
