I bought one monoprice dark matter and was disappointed they became unavailable. If this is a match then this looks like an almost as good deal as the last dark matter deal.

I registered by phone and immediately got a 3% discount, then a little while later after I didn't order, it went up to 5%. Not 10% yet. LOL.

Haha. I pulled the trigger at 3% off. It's still pretty close to the one-day blockbuster sale Monoprice had a few months ago.

I'm counting on the OP's note that they are the same display, which seems plausible. I can't find enough information online to check the panel used in the DecoGear.

Also, I receive the 10% discount about 24 hours after I signed up for text messages. I can't seem to cancel and replace the order, so anyone else should wait for the 10% off.

While probably similar, it is not exactly the same. This is less bright than the Dark Matter. It most likely uses a different backlight. Also not sure if this one has a QLED screen either.

How does this compare to the Gigabyte G34WQC? I need a 144hz ultrawide that doesn't flicker with GSYNC. I've never heard of DecoGear.

I just set this monitor up and it is, as far as I can tell, identical to the Dark Matter monitor in configuration. After a few days I eventually received a 15% off text message. So, if you are thinking about buying, sign up for the text offers and then wait a few days for the 15% off, and this is a great deal.

Does this rival the original Alienware Ultrawide 100hz (120hz OC) IPS?

Most of the games I play are hitting consistently above that so G-Sync is useless.

Any opinion is greatly appreciated.

Does anyone have issue with a low hum/buzzing when the display is active? Trying to figure out if this is normal or not. It has to be very quiet to hear it.

I just bought after waiting a week for that 15% off coupon to be sent to me. They tried 3% instantly on Monday. The next day they sent a 10% code. On the third day, Wednesday, they reverted down and sent me a 5% code... then silence on Thursday and Friday. So for me it was a 6 day wait. FYI for anyone else.

Unsure why others aren't pointing out there is NO SALES TAX for anyone and no CA monitor fee, which makes the deal even sweeter.

$323 shipped is an insane price. If I bought on Amazon it would have been $421 shipped, almost $100 off even the sale price.
