A short, but fun cinematic game set in Rome. The combat gets a little stale but it looks stunning for a game made in 2013. If you have any interest in Rome, and want a 3-4 hour game, I'd say it's worth $2.49

Definitely worth it for the price. Just picked it up.

I agree, for a game that's this old it still looks great today. Lots of QTE's though, so if you hate games with QTE's, this one's not for you. I played with an Xbox controller on PC, the QTE's are (hard) color coded to what should be the color of an Xbox button, ie. red = B, blue = X, etc. I'm not sure if/how it plays on keyboard, but something to keep in mind. I already own it, but worth it at $2.50 IMO.
While this game does get repetitive, because it doesn't have a ton of variety as far as combat moves, it's still fun for a bit. It's pretty short, too. So, the repetition isn't as bad as it would've been if the game were longer. This was essentially a tech demo when it was released on the Xbox One. It's definitely worth it for this cheap.
I'm OCD and really hate buying a game if there's more DLC that doesn't come with it. Is there more content that doesn't come with this edition?

The complete Ryse experience
The PC version of "Ryse: Son of Rome" offers the full experience, bundling the original Xbox One launch hit with all its DLC.
I think it's the only game I've replayed multiple times. Just played it for the first time, 4k high settings, on pc and, as others have said it's still beautiful. So awesome. Like going back in time. The cutscenes and actual plot is amazing too. I hate game cutscenes. But with this one, I literally once found myself putting down the controller and settling into my chair like I was watching a movie. The acting, everything, its actiually like watching a 90 rated movie on rotten tomatoes. I hope hope they come out with a sequel. Been hoping for a while now
