Just an FYI these are already being scalped hard. If you're on the fence to add to your collection it's more a buy now, think later on these. Everything that is solely produced by Nintendo with Zelda that's not 3rd party will always go up about 4x the value after they stop producing them. It always happens, and it never fails to amaze me every single time.
I quickly bought it after reading this and realizing the situation lol

Yeah I ordered in a hurry and it was for pickup. I wanted shipped and they were still in stock so I placed another order. Canceled. I said ok then canceled my pickup order to order for shipping again. Canceled. Wouldn't let me order at all.
Had to jump to wife's account

They're in stock at pretty much every target in my metro area. I think scalpers will take a hit.

My OCD can't handle two shades of blue like that. These things are in stock at a lot of South Florida Best Buy stores according to the website. Still shipping too.

Hopefully. Nintendo needs to seriously start meeting the demand for hardware, which will help minimize scalping on things that should be available for whoever wants them.

This scarcity, whether intentional or not, has gotten out of control, and the only ones that win are scalpers.

We shouldn't be paying for an expensive defective item or have to mod them ourselves for it to work properly in the first place. Nintendo needs to build these lil joycon with better quality if they expect us to pay $80 for em.

Increasing production to meet demand manipulated by scalpers would just create excess.

Enough product is already made, it's just the supply chain is being interfered.
