I have this. It doesn't need the app for it to work, just insert the battery (included) and it works. There's an app but I don't use it, and only my housemate undergoing Keto diet is using the app.

It is pretty accurate, I tested the accuracy by using a pair of Neoprene dumbells of 5lbs each and it register as 9.9lb, tested with 10lbs pair dumbells and it registers as 19.9 on the scale. I tested it with a kettle bell, but it's not as accurate because I have to place the kettle bells on each side, whereas using dumbells, it better simulate a person standing on both sides (each end of the dumbell must rest on opposite side of the scale).

The difference (the I know of) between this and the C1 / P1 is Bluetooth (this one is newer, with BT 5.0). Not sure if there are other differences.
It's a gimmick and won't work

according to the description, this one has slightly better sensors for more accurate reading - i assume this is the body fat % and other stat and not so much the weight. also slight better material is used for the top surface. you decide if it's worth the $8 "premium" over C1 when that's on sale (recently at $18.xx)

I have had this for six months. It is such an improvement over the Wyze scale I had previously. I had problems connecting with the Wyze and often it only read just the weight and I could not keep their app updated.

This one is much better - not a single issue with it.

Zeroing it may help, wonder if there is a way with this particularly one. Most similar scales can be zeroed by putting them on a hard floor, briefly steping on them until they turn on then stepping off, wait until the reading is zero.
