Best price for this newer 8GB plan was ~$204; could be coming around again in a month or so, certainly for BF. Maybe lower, even.
Also, just saw first ever RP TV commercial, could be going world-class (or at least trying to).

It gets a bit more complicated than that because different MVNO's have different throttled data speeds. However, since you've stated that you need less than 1GB of data I can't imagine the speeds would matter much for that little use.
I wonder how hard it is to switch over from one to the other. For instance, if I sign up for red pocket verizon and then want to switch to red pocket tmobile.

It also does work with either GSMA or CDMA, but the phone/text part isn't unlimited.
Look at their website under "Deals" header.

For me, this would have saved me a little over $10 in taxes. Depending on your state's tax rate, you may save a little more or less.
Not sure I want to try cancelling and changing state address on Ebay, since it's tied hand in hand with PayPal and with my luck it may result in added troubles.
It ticks me off that it's virtually double-taxing for a service.

I'm not sure how difficulty it would be to switch networks with Red Pocket but at the very least it would require a new SIM and probably contacting their customer service to have them make the switch.

I really wanted verizon towers, but probably shouldn't do it without 5g... On the other hand, though, I care much more about phone call reliability, so maybe I should do it, anyway.
Do you know anywhere that tells which providers have the best coverage in a specific zip code?
You might be thinking US Cellular. They have their own towers.
Fastest 5G speed I've gotten on a Samsung S20 is 343mbps download 55mbps upload. Fastest LTE I've gotten is 127mbps download.
Supposedly, 5G availability and coverage is better on T-Mobile compared to any carrier. You'll see this noted on a bunch of sites such as https://fortune.com/2021/04/28/fa...rizon-att/.
