I'd rather have something that can handle heavier weights and not have to worry about overdoing it with too much weight in one cube.

The third picture on amazon shows the only difference (other than the obvious size) is the it comes with stilts to raise it like an inch higher off the floor. Mine also came with a tiny hammer, not sure what's it's for though since it's pretty easy to attach the metal bar thing to the plastic (2 clicks kinda)

Can't speak for durability since my shoes weigh like less than 2 lb each and it seems to hold fine.

I purchased this about a year ago. The panels don't hold up to weight after a while. The plastic is super cheap and so are the connectors. Those can easily be broken during installation. It comes with extra pieces but i don't feel like it's worth it.

A teacher friend of mine got these for his classroom and it held up until the kids started putting things in and out of it on a regular basis. He used it for his papers and things for awhile and it was fine but switched to having kids put things on them and they got destroyed in a month.

They r awful! Got one to separate kids papers/hmwrk & it cracked when 4 sheets of construction paper were put in one cube!! I'm sure there was glitter involved though so that may explain it! Lol
