If you want to unlock it, as soon as you activate it, downgrade from the $60 plan to the $30 monthly plan. So you have 4 months paid already if you do this. If you want to unlock it, pay $30 + $30 (2 months) to total 6 months which qualifies for them to unlock it.
So you pay $420 + $60. $480 plus whatever tax
So let's say $500 for an unlocked iPhone 11 64gb
Brand new unlocked 64gb at apple costs $600 plus tax.
Should be $299 + $120 + $60 to unlock = $480 Not that slick unless you want the service. $25 less if you use a referral.

$480 for new unlocked iPhone 11 64GB PLUS 6 months of service (at least $150 in value)
Get a free referral on eBay (search Cricket Wireless referral) before placing the order and get $25 credit
=> $480 - $25 = $455
Check deals from banks (BOA, Chase). I keep seeing $25/$50 promos from them randomly. If you are lucky, you might save more.
