Product OverviewThe Milwaukee 21-piece Thunderbolt Black Oxide Drill Bit Set offers convenience and heavy-duty performance on the job site. You get a nice red Milwaukee case. Like getting a Birkin bag. Can refill with junk bits but still look fly.

I actually prefer their old cases with the sliding latch, but it feels more durable than an old one I have. Really only complaint about the box is it's bulky. At 2" thick, it's probably designed to match up with something in the Packout line, but it takes up a good bit more space than my 10-15 year old 15 piece set in one of my bags.
For an economical Chinese bit that holds up well [youtube.com], search for the DeWalt DWA1184 series... And since he tested the black oxide like the OP Milwaukee are, the titanium coated in same model number are even better. Here is the 14pc set [homedepot.com], but they go up to 21pc and more.
PS: We use Hanson and Triumph drill bits that we buy direct, but when on a job site and need a bit, the DeWalt will get you by.
Just watch the video.... [youtube.com]and if not sure which model, go down to the link section and check the model from the seller.

For a 1/2" bit, that is a pretty good price, but be careful with steel that it does not catch and break off that shank if you need it for an impact. Me, I would hope it did break, or cut it off to use the full shank in a regular drill.

When I do that...it changes back to the $29 price.
