Pretty sure this was the regular price leading up to Christmas, and 50% off after. I don't have my receipt to confirm.

Yeah it was end of 2019 beginning of 2020. I bought a set and have been satisfied with it. Currently widely available in Charlotte NC area. One store even has 75 available

I go between this set and a Craftsman set. I like the handles on these better.

The last set of kobalt screwdrivers I bought a few years ago slip when I put any torque on the handle. As in the handle spins on the shaft. It's very annoying to try to loosen a tight screw and the screwdriver handle is spinning but the screwdriver tip and screw aren't budging.

Any ideas if I can take them back or exchange them under warranty?

I would bring it back to Lowes for a warranty exchange.

Bought a set, needed the flat heads. Magnetic is a very loose term when describing these, just screwdrivers.
