Not where you have dehumidifier. We have a humidifier in the basement and don't use these anymore. When we were in an apartment, we used these in closets that were close to the bathroom.

These are perfect for closets, gun cabinets, camera lens storage, etc. They work great but wont do a basement

This is great for dehydrating mushrooms without using heat. Air dry them for 1 to 3 days then finish them off in a chamber eith damprid to the side
