Definitely. This is coming from someone who played vanilla 3 times. The majority of the changes and new additions are an massive improvement compared to vanilla Persona 5. Especially the third semester. Although depending on you, it might get a bit tiring on having to go through the same story sections and cutscenes again as I did felt like that time to time. But it's refreshing to see new scenes and story events pop up here and there. I highly recommend it, especially if you already played original Persona 5

Depending on how the first playthrough was, most people are not able to complete all the social links and everything the game has in 1 playthrough anyway. If you fall into that, then Royal is pretty much perfect for the second one. It also gives you more time to complete all social links.

It also significantly reduced grind in mementos dungeons, so you focus more on the story and other gameplay.

Just one thing to know, some characters that auto leveled up their confidant ranking no longer do. So don't forget about anyone. Otherwise you'll be like me with 3 days to go and needing to get like 8 level ups, cursing that they aren't available to hangout lol.

I'm still annoyed that this can't do a New Game + if you beat Persona 5.

I loved the game but re-grinding is not something I'm willing to do. Maybe for $10 and with more time behind me.

Would kill for it. Never played p5 before but would love to play it on Switch to grind short amounts. Maybe it'll be re-released for "Switch Pro" if that even exists.

I'm having a really hard time figuring out the difference between all the "Editions." Can I buy this and then buy all the DLC from all the other editions and it would still be cheaper?
