Just FYI, it's basically same oil as Costco, Amazon Basics, Walmart and few others made by Warren (might have very slightly different additive package but still very similar) . Nothing special but good basic synthetic oil. Costco when it has 2 for $25 comes closest in price.

Oil prices have gone up. I was waiting for it to go on sale again, and not only has that not happened, but the shelf price actually went up $2 Frown I wish I lived near a Rural King.

I've used RK branded oil for years. I believe it used to be manufactured by Marathon then it went to Warren.

In my case we had few pep boys locations closing their floor sales and currently at 50% off. Was able to get royal purple 5 qts for around $22 and rest of the full synthetics are $17-20. Not the cheapest but some of the highest rated ones though. Best deal was Rotella truck/suv with pep boys rebate if you got it (I tried just once), can't beat 2 5qts for around $5 AR.

Thanks I was headed to "the king" today anyway and I need 5w30 for the mower oil change.

Actually available in multiple weights at this price 0w-20 included.

true. havent seen costco oil onsale for awhile
