Hey guys - Just a quick PSA for when these orders likely get xcled - When you call to complain, whine, threaten to never shop at HD again, yell at or say how you'll sue them, blablabla, remember that the person you're speaking to didn't cancel or decide to do so to your order. They will stick to the script. Take the 20% off your next order, free ship or whatever consolation offer they give and move on.

They aren't getting paid enough to care about your interpretation of a law or that you will never shop there again and how much you spend there. Trust this.

Should go without saying, but some of the posts here are pretty concerning...

Never tried gel toppers, only regular memory foam. Don't recall exactly what we purchased as it was many years ago.

But a resounding YES. If you have a conventional mattress (especially if it's really firm or getting old/worn), a quality memory foam topper (and a nice, thick mattress pad) will transform your bed. It's really quite amazing how much of a difference it makes.

If this ships, any cheap but good frames/platforms to put it on? I currently have my queen mattress on some metal frame thing I got off Amazon.

Supposedly this comes with a box spring too

I already had HD cancel my order saying my payment was declined even though I used a payment method that has worked flawlessly in the past, in a good standing account. Seems like a pretty chicken sh!t way to cancel an order but I'm not surprised either.
