Quite a bit less cushion and more stability in these.

I'm looking for a pair of shoes for general walking around the city, seldom runs (1-3 miles) and occasional trail walking. Is this it? The price looks pretty good. This will be a pair that I don't "baby" (unlike my Ultraboosts).

Is it just for this color/style and is this the version without a separate tongue? I have the one with an integrated tongue and it's a pain to get on. Once on though it feels just like my previous DS-T's. I used to run exclusively in these when they were cheap, and I swear they made me run 30-60 seconds faster per mile. My current pair was my first in nearly 20 years and it felt just like the old ones used to feel, and I'm down to just over 7 min/mile again. If you run on pavement and have neutral to slight over or under pronation, and like to go fast, give these a try. They're amazing. If you're more or a "jogger" and average 9-10 min/mile or slower then these will be wasted on you.

I use to love ASICS but lately their quality has substantially deminished.
Other than the laces, which are thinner on some models than they used to be, I'd have to disagree. But then I mostly run on Gel-Ventures and recently these budget DS-T's, and both have held up and performed great.

Do they not make shoes in different widths? I dont see an option on their website. Standard only.
Lol, you must be new here. Even when they do make wide widths, they're *very* rarely included in these sales.

You put your feet in them and make a running motion with your legs. But really, I have the gel-nimbus, and the wide width is barely wide enough for my wide feet (EE). But they are super comfortable - I just couldn't see a standard width fitting a wide foot.

Anyone know what happens over time if you're overpronated and wear supinated shoes, and vice versa?

In my experience, there are very few supinated shoes (in which the insole is actually molded to angle your foot, like a stability shoe but opposite). So really it's more of a question between stability shoes or neutral shoes.

To answer your question, depending on your level and time spent in the shoes, you have potential to develop a myriad of bodily issues like achy knees, hips, etc. The most immediate/acute issue would be feet that hurt like crazy after a short run.

Thanks for your in depth answer. If there are very few supinated shoes, what kind of shoes are people with underpronation suppose to wear?
