The screen is the best on any device of this form factor, very bright with beautiful color. It is very, very thin and light. It is visually stunning and attracts interest, because it looks like a premium ultrabook not a sub-$500 Chromebook. The built in stylus is a nice touch, but it is not that great to use, especially when coming from using the Apple Pencil.
There are a number of pretty significant drawbacks to note:
Battery sucks as many have mentioned, but I always have a 87W Anker 20k mAh battery in my backpack to keep it going.
The keyboard is middle-of-the-road and the trackpad is poor.
The WiFi antennas are weak.
It doesn't seem very durable. Because of how thin it is, the device bends pretty easily. I was worried I might break it in the tablet holder on an airplane.
The screen hinge isn't the best build quality. I always find myself adjusting it, rather than just opening it to my preferred angle like I would on a MacBook Pro or Surface Laptop.
The touchscreen overlay is visible when using it as a tablet in portrait orientation, which is annoying.
These drawbacks are not dealbreakers for me, but I find myself pulling out my Mac if I want to type more than a few lines or do any sort of multitasking.

Really can't make sense why they stuff such old DDR into it.
Please enlighten us what you'd be doing on a Chromebook at $350 that you can actually feel the difference in RAM type.

Only using EDU as an example. Before I select "YES, I AGREE", it shows next to "Yes" the new cost after trade-in as $264.50. Once I select "YES, I AGREE", the final cost before checkout shows $299.50. $50 was taken off of EDU discount, from $349.50 to $299.50.
Still, it's lower than without the trade-in, but I'll only be getting half the value of the trade-in.
