I built my first custom Seiko a mere 6 months before I got my Apple watch. Now our health insurance does this thing where they "pay" you to work out...so I pretty much ONLY wear an Apple watch. Totally agree with you on missing wearing more interesting watches.

In all seriousness, I'm not familiar with these specific models but my first automatic was a SNK809 and it's what got me into automatics. This looks like a good price for a Seiko 5 sport, and I've ordered once from Jomashop without any issue.
