Don't get fooled with the count. All 100 pieces are not magnets. They include Plastic alphabet blocks as well. I returned it after verifying that the actual count of Magnets is just 82.

These are great, my 3 year old loves building with them. Definitely worth the price. I paid 40$ a little over a week ago on a similar deal.

We have Legos, Lincoln Logs, Stem Interlocks, Toy Cars and Magna-Tiles and our four grandsons only play with the Magna-Tiles. Every time they are over they get them out and start building.

https://www.fivelittlestars.com/p...s-playmags says "The differences between these two types of magnet tiles are almost undetectable" when comparing Playmags and Magna-Tiles

100 pieces is 100 pieces. This set is much cheaper and as good or better than Magnatile. The magnets used feel a little stronger than the Magnatile set as well.

I bought a Jumanga brand set with 58 magnets (including 1 car) for 24 bucks.

I'm leery about purchasing off brand magna tiles as we have one set currently and the magnets are very weak.

This set is excellent. We have magna tiles and these. To me the only difference I see between them is that the magnets actually feel stronger on these.

Yes, they work great with magnatiles. All of our magnetic tiles are all mixed together at this point and you can't really tell the difference (unless you look closely) of which came from which set.
