From the last post few weeks ago, shipping 77lbs Jack = terrible idea.
Item arriving with damages. Mutilated box. Terrible customer service.

Other than being able to return it, I'm not sure why you wouldn't go for a Daytona or even a Pittsburg. I have a Pittsburg that's always in the bed of my truck when towing the boat/trailer. Have used it a few times and it's a great unit.

I just bought the Daytona 3-ton low-pro for about the same price. How do they stack up against each other? I can still return my unopened Daytona.

Ditto for the Arcan HJ3000. I read many reviews on the HJ3000 vs. Daytona, but never much on the CAT. I ended up buying the Arcan, but have yet to open it for upcoming oil changes so can still return Arcan as well. TIA. Just a weekend warrior but still want something that will last and ideally not contribute to my death.

Other than slightly different contours and a couple extra feature's it's exactly like my Daytona. They add a little bumper plate, a place to put your lug nuts and the foot pump. I'll have to check my receipt but i thing i paid $138. I hate returning stuff but i like the idea of the foot pump. Oh yeah and expect shipping damage. That was a pretty common complaint.

I read somewhere if you buy this jack it will have a lifetime warranty either through cat or costco. Is this true? I found my Daytona receipt and only paid $125 so I'm not sure if I want to return it now.

Edit:
I could not confirm any such costco warranty unless you use a costco credit card and the warranty doubles.

Daytona manufacturers warranty = 3years
Cat manufacturers warranty = 1 year

At this point I think I'm out. I don't need the foot pump that bad.

I bought 2 floor jacks at Costco about 27 years ago, one of them is still working well and the other one needs some small parts (different model than the 1st 1). A supervisor@ Costco near me said they will give me a refund if I want to return the broken 1.
