Bought one a couple weeks ago when it was 140. I challenge anyone to find a phone of this quality for this price brand new. One of the commenters said it was slow. I disagree, it's running Android 11, and doesn't seem to be any slower than my Galaxy S10. For the person wanting to get back into Android phones, this is the perfect opportunity to get a flagship from a couple generations ago for cheap. Bummer that there is no headphone jack, and the top and bottom bezel are larger than the newer model phones, but that leaves good amount of space for the stereo speakers on top and bottom, they are better than any other phone I've ever had. Again, I want to point out that this is running Android 11, and even though it is not being updated any further, it's amazing to get Android 11 for this price.

Almost no phone in this price range will ever get an update. Why is this even a valid argument? This phone will be markedly better than any new budget phone in its price range. Also phones become slow because of a cluttered OS and a bad battery. This would have a mostly new battery (batteries degrade a little from time alone.) This or the recent pixel 3 deals should definitely be considered if you want to spend under $200 and get an excellent phone. I wouldn't risk a refurb but new, this is great.
I just got one of the scratch-and-dent refurb Pixel 3s from Woot delivered yesterday -- it looks absolutely brand new, not a scratch anywhere. Pixel 3s had a weak battery to begin with and being used will assuredly make that even worse, but I doubt my mother will mind one way or the other! Can't beat it for $90.

Description in the post states: "comes with USB-C to 3.5mm headphone jack adaptor."
A great way to wear out your charger port and break a 3.5mm jack.

real reason: to allow better waterproofing
Is that why the IP waterproof rating hasn't changed at all? Maybe they should just get rid of the charging port and sim card slot too!

I bought my Panda 2XL launch day from Google. They advertised it as "unlocked". Color me shocked when I tried to load another OS 2 years ago and discovered that it was indeed locked. There are a few threads in the google support forums about this. Google isn't doing anything about it though. They've actually never admitted that the Panda was locked and the black wasn't (this is the first I'm reading of it). That experience left a bad taste in my mouth, but otherwise the phone has been awesome until late. My battery life is truly bad now, and is getting worse by the day. I'm holding out for the Pixel 6, because I can't see myself using an iPhone (I'm typing this on a Macbook, so I'm not an Apple hater) and I refuse to use any Android device that has manufacturer bloatware installed on top of Android (I miss my Moto X Pure Bamboo phone).
I don't think the issue is with all the Pandas -- I just watched several 2xl rooting youtubes, and a bunch of the one's they unlocked/rooted were panda's. From what I've been reading, seems like Verizon is the common culprit.

P.S. - same on Moto XPE with bamboo back -- sadly my friend fell in the lake and I jumped in after him to help, and that was the end of it Frown

Compared to moto g power, this is much better in every department and comparable if not better in terms of battery life.

Great phone for the price, but be warned they stopped doing security updates in December of last year.

Yes, we understood the 9 previous warnings. Also, the previous post where the guy said he won't do banking on it because it no longer gets security updates -- lmfao. Reminds me of a friend that bought a separate computer to do his taxes and would not hook it up to the internet. Indicative of a sound-byte level understanding of security and relative risk, similar to changing all the locks on your house because one of your spare keys fell down a sewer, oblivious to the fact that your windows can be popped open with a butter knife.

A dumb question here. It doesn't come with phone case correct? What's the best place to get one?

As a moderate user, I get roughly two days of battery life. If you are a heavy user, you will still get more than a days battery life .

I have both phones... Pixel 2XL is way ahead, no comparison. EXCEPT in battery life. I get two days with Moto and 1 day with Pixel.

eBay, Amazon, etc. They have a ton of good options for cheap. 10 bucks should get you a case and glass screen protector.
