most cable like this are stranded and not solid copper. the solid copper cables are not meant to be moved around like the stranded cables are. thus, stranded cables are more flexible. also stranded is cheaper.

I wish some of the review pictures with cut cables were clearer. For those not aware, one of the only real checks for CCA (copper clad aluminum) is to just cut apart and scrape the cable.

I don't judge the people who tear up this cable to check it out, but I'd wish they'd post their findings instead of returning the crap for some other sucker to get (given the low priority Amazon gives to checking returned goods prior to turnover as Amazon Warehouse).

I know nothing about these things, I have learned some from these threads, but I've already forgotten…how much movement are we talking about? I just want freaking long cable so I don't have to use Wi-Fi so much.What Implications for performance? Copper clad aluminum sounds way cheaper.What's the point of flat cables?
