You'd need the 8. I wear a 13 in athletic shoes. A 12 in Teva sandals are a little big, but it's important on sandals to have some overhangs or you'd stub your toe a lot.

Thanks. People commented in another thread that the consensus was also size down rather up so I ordered size 8.
