Actually, every counterfeit board game I've ever bought was "sold and shipped by Amazon". The third-party sellers who deal in high numbers of counterfeit games store their games in Amazon facilities, where Amazon generally doesn't separate the ones they got from legitimate distributors from the nearly identical ones they get from the counterfeit dealers.

My in-person board game group with over 500 board games between us and various random people I meet weekly at board game meetups must all be nobody then. Not to mention the thousands of people that frequent BoardGameGeek and various other board game related websites. Oh and I guess board game stores exist for no reason, but definitely not because people frequent them.

Is it natural for you to be this confidently incorrect? Or are you just a general d-bag all around?

Edit: Just took a quick look at your post history and it swiftly answered my questions. No one should ever take you seriously.

Woah, excellent price!

If anyone is on the fence Pandemic is an excellent, and challenging, cooperative game.

Camel says $16 is the lowest price it has been. I got the app about a year ago and it's a pretty fun game. Eager to try it IRL.

I think this is one title with a high chance of getting a fake copy. But $16 is a good price. Good game for families or people getting into the hobby. Only plays 4 though.

It's a great game, but set up take a while. I have one already and just bought another to use as a gift.

Just ordered one. How can I tell if it is a fake copy?

The components in the legit one are pretty good. If yours feel flimsy or are printed poorly, it's probably a counterfeit. If you ordered from a "sold and shipped by Amazon" link, I'd guess you'll be okay.

Playing board (and card) games had never been better. There are so many good games to play now, you aren't just limited to Monopoly and life.
