Website shows $169 but when I tapped the "Available Now at" button inside the Wal-Mart app the price shows as <s>$109</s> $54 for several stores in my area.
Whether you like Chromebooks or not, at least it'll keep doing whatever it's doing for a long time. btw, look at the picture of the guts of the chromebook. Not the exact model number though.

Get the regular Chromebook 311, it's Prettymuch the same laptop, just doesn't have the convertible screen feature. EDIT: sorry I misread the specs, they are not the same internals despite the same 311 number. The Spin has a lot better processor.
If you are trying to choose between the N4020 and the 8183C mediatek, choose the N2040 if you want faster web browsing.
The N4020 version has an Octane score of ~15,000+ while the 8183 has an Octane of ~10,000 (which is barely passable in my book - but I'm a tab hoarder).
Get the 8183 version is the prime concern is battery life because the 8183 gets almost 20 hours battery life on wifi browsing.
The screen color gamuts suck on there at about 55% but they are otherwise excellent with a 0.11 cd black level and about 1300:1 contrast. As a completely unrelated comparo and not an indicator of overall quality, the Macbook m1 Air has 0.39 black level and a contrast of 1000:1.
Not that I need another Chromebook, but I bought one to see if I can actually get the battery life of 15+ hours (up to 20 hrs) just wasting time browsing.
edit: the screen is supposed to be only 55% sRGB gamut - but it looks great with an ips screen, glossy glass cover, and high contrast with great black levels. Apparently, gamut doesn't matter as much as long as those other parameters are good. Well, worth a $100 to leave in the car/truck permanently.
I'm tired of driving out of my way only to deal with incredibly unhelpful Walmart employees. I didn't have time to wait for a manager. I waited ten minutes in electronics for a woman to tell me she had no way of electronically checking their inventory and she spent 30 seconds looking for something they said they had 4-5 of in stock on brickseek, only to tell me they didn't have it. When I asked if she was sure because the website said it was in stock she copped a huge attitude.

I hear you on that.
For the most part, for me, if I have to talk to someone I usually pass it by at my Walmart. If I do decide to give it a try I usually try later at night or right around opening because it's less busy.

Whatever they do, it'll be supported for a while. June 2028.
Another slightly different model, but the overall performance is the same.

And, yes, 1366x768 sucks but on a 11.6" screen at typical viewing distance it is fairly readable.
