Did everything as required, but never got the bonus the first time. The transaction tracks in Google Pay, but no pending bonus is reported. Multiple people are reporting this in the previous thread. Customer service requests screenshots etc., but doesn't do anything.
Wasted time and actually lost $5 on a $125 Amazon GC ( could have used my 6% Amex card, but used a 1% card that was already linked to GPay).
Now this offer shows up in my account, but not going to waste my time with GPay offers again. Sh*tty hit or miss cashback with bad customer support (see the other thread).
I bought $125 worth of Amazon GC in store last time and the offer never triggered. I have been chatting with google and they wanted a screenshot of the offer added in gpay, but how tf am I supposed to do that if the offer disappeared? So frustrating.
I ordered GCs online for store pickup. It didn't trigger the reward notification though the transaction showed in google pay. Walgreens cancelled my order because supposedly the items are not available. The offer is still in my google pay. I will give another try in store today. And I captured the screenshot of the offer just in case..
I have done an order combining store pickup and shipping…it's tracked part of store pickup and ignored bigger shipping part. Contacted support on July 8 and they are still working on it…pathetic support and tracking

Be careful on this. Google pay seems to do a terrible job tracking purchases/referrals…and their support is garbage. I got burned on a referral credit (with my own wife - so I know it took) and the Redbox promotion and support was asking me for screenshots. Yea, because I recorded me clicking a referral for someone because I doubted one of the worlds largest tech companies could figure out tokens.
In the previous offer (which disappeared), I did it on two accounts, by activating and enrolling two different CCs and using them at the store to buy $125 Amazon GCs and got the $25 rewards (pending) show up in my accounts almost immediately.
My inference is that the best method is to activate offer and register your CC and just use it at the store.
Because, if something goes wrong, its almost impossible to get it right; the google support people have no idea about this offer and pull their various explanations right out of you know where.

Yes, I bought a gift card in store, but again there is no reward notification. I noticed the cancelled online transaction has Transaction ID "merchant_offer_transaction". It means that I have used the offer.

This one only says "Valid online at Walgreen's website" while iirc the last one was in store and online.
